Australia is on the top on the 2nd day of the test match after a brave declaration by Ricky Ponting which surprised everyone.

Australia declares their innings on 454/5 , Micheal Hussey plays a beautiful inning's of 82 and the surprised package was Nathan Hauritz who came as a Night Watchman and score 75 runs.

Pakistan scores 4 for 109 at stumps on day 2 of the test match.Imran Farhat and Salman Butt open the innings with confidence but they were never at the top of the Aussie bowlers. Micheal Johnson removes Imran Farhat 9 at the total of 26 , Faisal Iqbal and Salman butt make a good little partnership of 34 but Faisal Iqbal was caught at slips by Micheal Clark on the bowling of Nathan Haurtiz , Faisal made 15 runs of 62 balls.Mohammad Yousuf was the next man in and he came at the crease with some aggression as he hit Hauritz for 6 but after it run rate was very slow , the innings scoring rate was 2.22 runs per over.

Yousuf and Salman Butt both were playing very solidly and carefully but suddenly ball starting to reverse swing by the bowling of Shane Watson , he was able to move the ball both ways but Pakistani batsmen were playing him at the merit but reverse swing proves to be nightmare for Salman Butt as he got out lbw , Watson took that wicket.

After departer of Salman Butt the ball was really reversing big , Australian fast bowlers really start to reverse swing the ball after the 40th over.

Umar Akmal was the next man in and it looks like he really was having some kind of a plan to tackle reverse swing and played the ball at ease. Mohammad Yousuf on the other hand playing like a champion , he was stroking the ball beautifully and with confidence but his innings was also ends up on a short note as Siddle got him caught behind on 109 , umpire give him notout but the decision was refer to 3rd umpire who after taking a look give him out.

Now Pakistan have to bat very well if they want to make a game of it otherwise Ricky Ponting and his troops are looking to destroy them from the very start.
