Australia v Pakistan, 1st Test, Melbourne, 3rd day

Pakistan make the Boxing Day test match alive due to some splendid bowling spell from Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif after a disappointing end of Pakistan 1st innings batting.

Earlier Umar Akmal and Night Watchman Mohammad Amir starts the proceedings for Pakistan today with the bat as Amir played a good innings of 15 runs and his Partner was Umar Akmal who again proved that he is a world class batsmen who likes to dominates the bowling , he make 51 in his dominating innings but he could not control his aggression and he got out.New ball proves to be nightmare for Pakistan batting as they claps again , Bolinger bowl superbly with the help of peter siddle and Micheal Johnson. Nathan Hauritz was a little bit disappointed but he also keep himself involve in the game.

Good thing for Pakistan is that Misbah show some form , he played a very responsible and matcher innings of 65 notout , in his innings he show some aggression and cool head as well. Umar's innigs of 51 and Misbah's 65* help Pakistan to avoid the follow-on.

Australia 3 for 111 (Watson 64*, Aamer 2-43) and 5 for 454 dec lead Pakistan 258 (Misbah 65*, Umar 51, Johnson 3-36) by 307 runs

Pakistan start their 2nd innigns bowling with a great combination of aggression and accuracy , Mohammad Amir looked fiery in his opening burst and Mohammad Asif was all over the batsmen whole day. Asif make the life a hell for the batsmen with his good line and length , he make runs almost impossible by his bowling on the other hand his partner Amir bowled with fiery speed and aggression.

Asif got the 1st wicket of Simon Katich with the beautiful out singer on the total of 15 , it makes Ponting to the crease and he as usual start his innings in aggressive style with a massive lead behind him , Amir from the very start targeted Ponting with some short stuff and he was rewarded too, he got Ricky Ponting with short ball when the score was 32,Salman Butt make a good catch at Mid Wicket. Micheal Hussey was the next man in but at that time Amir was all over the Aussie batsmen as he trapped Hussey lbw on 40 which he refers to 3rd umpire but he was a goner , he make only 4 runs.

After this it was a battle to watch between Amir and Watson , Amir tried almost every thing to remove Watson and he was all over him but Watson some how managed to survive that particular spell of Mohammad Amir , Watson and Clarke makes sure that they will not gonna let the Pakistan dominate anymore as they played with patience and responsibility , both score at a very slow rate because of some superb bowling by Pakistanis but after some overs they again started to dominate the match as Watson completes his another fifty in the session.

At the end of 3rd days play Australia is leading by 307 runs with 7 wickets in hand , looks like it gonna be a another test for Pakistan batting in 4th innings.
